Operation Jumbo Drop

Well today is day one. The goal? To lose a small human over the next 8-12 months. Starting here:

I plan to lose 100-120 pounds by this time next year. If you're reading this then hopefully I consider you friend or family and I ask for your support. I'm taking charge of my health beacuse I'm sick and tired of being fat. I absoulutely love who I am but this fleshy vessel in which I transport the awesomeness that is The Dwight has got to go.

So, please cheer me on. I will be making weekly update posts on this page to chart my progress. I welcome any encouragement or criticism that you feel necessary. With your help I will reach my ultimate goal. Yes that's right, next year, at Halloween, The Dwight will appear at a creepy party near you as the one, the only:

BUCK ROGERS!

hey buddy, i am excited for the excitement and the reward you will get to feel doing this. obviously i'm still a ways from my goal, but enjoy it man, even the struggles!!!

and my only bit of advice is to really keep up the promise of updating the blog, it will help your discipline and keep you on track. but i have to go now because you just buzzed our apartment!!!

Dwight,
Blessings with this endeavor. Do you have a plan of action or progam or something that you will be following? Lord knows if anyone needs to be doing the same thing its me. I will check your blog regularly to see how its going.

Blessings,
Wayne

ps wow, I just googled the word "regularly" to check my spelling which is usually atrocious and the top hit on google is a link that reads: "exercise regularly." a sign?

thanks for the support guys.

wayne, i'm in a 3 month contest at work to see who can use the most weight but other than that jenny and i are just concentrating on my calorie intake and exercise. i've come to the realization that i enjoy eating far to much to "diet". we are just trying to change our eating habbits to incorporate healther foods in more moderat portions.

thanks for checking in. hopefully i'll have results to report soon

eating is good - it's almost shocking how much just making a point to eat BETTER things rather than LESS things can make an impact.

Though, i'm not going to lie, I have a feeling that the kung-fu christmas bash may be a bit out of line for this approach....

yeah, i'm putting the onus on you guys to watch me at the bash. but i'm off all of christmas week so i'll have plenty of time for extra exercise to work off any extra foods
